1. Editorial Copyright Notice
All original editorial content published on Katamusikku — including investigative journalism, music criticism, album and track reviews, curated charts, artist interviews, editorial columns, and bespoke photography — is copyright © Katamusikku and protected under Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright (Undang-Undang Hak Cipta Republik Indonesia) and international copyright treaties.
2. Fair Use & Third-Party Media Citations
Katamusikku is a cultural music journalism publication. In accordance with Article 44 of the Indonesian Copyright Law (UU No. 28/2014) and international Fair Use / Fair Dealing doctrines:
• Album cover artwork, promotional artist stills, and press release materials remain the intellectual property of their respective record labels, artists, photographers, and copyright owners.
• Third-party imagery and streaming audio snippets are reproduced on Katamusikku strictly for non-commercial editorial critique, historical archiving, music journalism, and educational discussion.
• Proper attribution is provided to rights holders and photographers wherever available.
3. Quotation & Syndication Guidelines
We actively support healthy cultural dialogue and journalism citation. Other publications, academic papers, and creators may quote excerpts from Katamusikku articles under the following conditions:
• Attribution: Direct quotes must be clearly attributed to Katamusikku and the named author.
• Hyperlink: A prominent, direct, clickable hyperlink to the original article on Katamusikku must be included.
• No Whole-Sale Scraping: Full reproduction, automated scraping, syndication, or commercial redistribution of entire articles without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
4. Copyright Takedown Procedure (DMCA & UU Hak Cipta)
Katamusikku respects the intellectual property of artists, labels, and creators. If you believe your copyrighted work has been displayed, reproduced, or linked on Katamusikku in a way that constitutes infringement, please submit a formal notice to our Designated Copyright Agent.
Your notice must include: identification of the copyrighted work, the exact URL on Katamusikku where the material appears, proof of ownership or authorization, your contact information, and a good-faith statement of non-authorization.
